Ramona Wadi is an independent researcher, freelance journalist, book reviewer and blogger. Her writing covers a range of themes in relation to Palestine, Chile and Latin America. She writes about the struggle for memory in Palestine, Chile and Argentina, the disappeared (desaparecidos), historical legitimacy, the ramifications of settler-colonialism, Palestinian anti-colonial struggle and the Palestinian righ to return to historic Palestine, the correlation between humanitarian aid and human rights abuses, refugee trajectories, the globalisation of NATO, the United Nations as an imperialist organisation, indigenous resistance, la nueva cancion Chilena and Latin American revolutionary philosophy with a particular focus on Fidel Castro, Jose Marti and Jose Carlos Mariategui.

She has interviewed individuals and organisations from Palestine, Chile, Argentina and Cuba on issues related to activism, politics, collective memory, post-dictatorship trauma, anti-colonial struggle, political prisoners, internationalism and academia, music and art.
